A Helping Hand for Sanjana’s Family in the Fields of Hope 🌾✨

In the quiet, hardworking village lands of India, we met a cheerful young girl named S. Sanjana, a third standard student who carries both a gentle smile and a determined spirit. At just 8 years old, Sanjana is already learning the values of dedication, compassion, and family strength—values that are lived out daily in her home.

Sanjana’s family is supported by her parents, S. Bikshapathi and S. Rajitha, who work as farm laborers. From sunrise to sunset, they toil under the sun in the fields—planting, harvesting, and doing everything they can to provide for their children. Their work is seasonal and unpredictable, and their earnings, while honest, are modest.

Sanjana is the youngest in her family. She shares a close bond with her elder brother Lokesh and elder sister Sumasri. Whether it's studying together or helping with chores at home, their togetherness makes the small home they share feel full of love.

When Rice Love visited their family, we were deeply touched by their humility and gratitude. We had the privilege of donating 25 kilos of rice, enough to sustain the family for a full month. For parents like Bikshapathi and Rajitha, this gift brings more than food—it brings peace of mind.

The rice donation allows the family to save $19 this month, a meaningful amount for those who live hand-to-mouth. That saved money can now be redirected toward their children’s schooling, daily essentials, or kept aside for emergencies during dry farming seasons. It’s a small shift, but it brings a wave of relief to a family that works so hard every single day.

Sanjana shared her little dream with us: “I want to study well and help my parents when I grow up.” Her words, soft but confident, reflect the dreams that so many children in rural communities hold close to their hearts.

This is why Rice Love exists—to stand beside families like Sanjana’s and remind them they are not alone. Each bag of rice given is not just nourishment for the body, but nourishment for the soul, reminding families that their dreams matter.

Thank you for being part of this mission. With every purchase and every shared story, you're helping bring comfort, hope, and possibility to hardworking families across India—one bag of rice at a time.
