Hi, I am Aktar Unnisa. I am a widow. and this is my family with daughters Ruksana Begum and Shaw Sulthana. My occupation is a Cheroot (Beedi) worker.  My combined family income is $3 per day. We are poor and homeless wretch. My husband is deceased. The family is left to live ourselves. When my daughters were young, they worked as servant maids and now they learned to make beedies where there is no investment required. We live in a rented house. We work from home. We know working with tobacoo is injurious to our health, but we are helpless and we work for our survival. In early days, it was difficult to work because of smell, now we got habituated. The gift of 25 kilos of rice is a good support to our poor family. It is sufficient for more than a month to us. We invest this money to buy wild chaff to prepare brooms, which is most safe to our daughters. We thank God and Rice love.
