Veer Raju Akumuri Family #1786

This is Veer Raju Akumuri and his wife Shanthamma. They are too old to work. Children have married and living with their families leaving the parents behind. As there is no source of income, he needs to work for their livelihood. He is working a a gardener in a farm and he gets $56 per month. Sometimes he does not go to work because of the illness and on those days, they have to starve. They are living in the poverty with basic facilities. When Rice Love donated them 25 kilos of rice, they did not expect that God is going to help them in this way. The rice will provide food supply of more than a month and they are going to save the money for their medical expenses. Raju says" we thank Rice Love for helping the poor and needy people like us.
