Dhanush’s Story: A Child with Big Dreams, Raised by Quiet Heroes
In the humble village of Devannapet, under Hasanparthy Mandal in Hanumakonda district, lives a determined 5th standard student named Silveru Dhanush. Every day, Dhanush walks to his primary school not just with books in his hands—but with dreams in his heart. He’s a quiet, focused student who knows that education is the way to a better future.
Behind Dhanush’s hopeful spirit stands a hardworking family. His father, Silveru Ramesh, works as a bus cleaner in a private school. Rain or shine, early mornings and late evenings, Ramesh puts in long hours to make ends meet. His mother, Jyothi, works as a sweeper in the same school, quietly cleaning classrooms while her son sits in one of them, learning and growing.
Both parents earn very modest wages, yet they never let it dim the dreams of their son. They work tirelessly so that Dhanush can study without worry and reach heights they themselves never had the chance to dream of.
Despite their hard work, their earnings are just enough to get by—food, school supplies, rent, and the basics. But there are no complaints in their home, only the strength of sacrifice and the joy they find in Dhanush’s progress.
When Rice Love visited their home with a bag of rice, it was received with deep gratitude.
“We feel blessed,” said Ramesh softly. “This will feed our family for many days, and the money we save can go towards Dhanush’s school needs. Thank you for remembering families like ours.”
