Sandhala Ashwith Raj Family #3635

Ashwith Raj’s Story: Small Family, Big Strength

In the quiet village of Devannapet, tucked within Hasanparthy Mandal, Hanumakonda district, lives a cheerful and thoughtful 4th standard student named Sandhala Ashwith Raj. Every morning, Ashwith walks to the local primary school with a heart full of curiosity and a mind ready to learn. His gentle nature and bright smile make him a joy to be around—both at school and home.

Ashwith comes from a hardworking family of four. His father, Sandhala Raju, drives a three-wheeler auto to earn a daily wage. The work is long and often uncertain, depending on the number of rides he can get each day. His mother, Anitha, works in a local hotel, spending hours in a hot kitchen or on her feet serving customers, just to make sure there’s food at home and their boys can go to school.

Ashwith’s elder brother, David Raj, is a source of strength and support. The brothers are close and often study together, sharing not only books but also dreams of helping their parents and building a brighter future.

Despite working so hard, the family’s income is just enough to meet their basic needs. Some months are tougher than others, especially when there are unexpected expenses like school supplies, medical needs, or house repairs. But the family never gives up—they stay strong, support each other, and carry on with quiet dignity.

When Rice Love reached their home with a gift of rice, it was received with gratitude and humble smiles.

“It’s a big help for us,” said David. “We can save money this month—maybe even buy shoes for Ashwith or something for school. Thank you, Rice Love, for remembering families like ours.”

This small act of giving made a real difference to Ashwith’s family. It gave them breathing room and reminded them that they are not alone in their journey.

At Rice Love, we are honored to meet families like Ashwith Raj’s—families full of love, hard work, and unshakable hope. Every child like Ashwith deserves the chance to dream, and we are proud to support that dream with one bag of rice at a time.

Thank you, Ashwith and family, for letting us be part of your beautiful story.
