Lisena Asistir has 4 children (the oldest one is missing from the photo) and lives in a small area called Damajagua. They currently live in a wood home their local church let them borrow. Lisena works as a “machanta”, selling vegetables such as peppers and avocados in the streets. Her husband, Italdo Asistir works on and off in a small local farm picking out vegetables whenever they need him. They were very grateful as this rice helps them feed their family for over a month.
