Srichandhana’s Story: A Young Girl with Dreams Bigger Than Her Struggles

In the village of Devannapet, within Hasanparthy Mandal, Hanumakonda district, lives a bright and determined 4th standard student named Chunchu Srichandhana. With a shy smile and eyes full of wonder, she walks to her village school each day, holding tight to dreams that stretch far beyond the dusty roads of her hometown.

Srichandhana comes from a family where love and sacrifice go hand in hand. Her father, Lokanadham, works as an Amali—a daily wage laborer at the agricultural market, loading and unloading goods for long hours. Her mother, Sangeetha, works as a maid, juggling multiple homes each day to help make ends meet. Their work is tough, often thankless, but they never let hardship get in the way of giving their daughters a better future.

Srichandhana’s elder sister, Srivarshani, is her role model and best friend. Together, they dream, study, and support each other, always holding on to the belief that education is their way out of poverty.

Life is never easy for a family surviving on daily wages. The uncertainty of work and rising expenses often cast shadows over their hopes. But this family continues to push forward with quiet strength and dignity.

When Rice Love delivered a bag of rice to their home, the relief on their faces was unmistakable.

“It’s not just rice to us,” said Lokanadam with emotion. “It means we can save a little this month. Maybe we can buy school books, or save for something the girls need. Thank you for thinking of families like ours.”

For families like Srichandhana’s, even small help makes a big difference. With this donation, they were able to breathe a little easier, knowing that a few meals were taken care of and that the savings could go toward their children’s future.

At Rice Love, we’re inspired by the strength of families like these—who, despite limited means, continue to believe in the power of education, hard work, and love. Srichandhana’s story reminds us that behind every smiling child is a family doing everything possible to support her journey.

Thank you, Srichandhana and family, for showing us what resilience truly looks like.
