Wholesale Sales Associate
Position Overview
We are in search of the right person to fill our Part-time Wholesale Sales Associate position on the North Shore, Oahu, Hawaii. This position will report directly to one of our co-founders.
This position requires previous business to business sales experience. The position is part-time + commission, with the potential to become full-time.
Responsibilities
Wholesale Account Sales
- Maintain a CRM to organize leads and accounts
- Make prospecting phone calls and emails
- Create and send promotional emails to wholesale email list
- Make and fulfill sales goals
- Assist stores in placing orders
Events
- Lead and direct pop-ups and sales events
- Set up/take down booth and supplies
- Coordinate volunteers and other workers
- Order inventory
- Run shopify POS for sales transactions
Trade shows
- Compile list and evaluate best trade shows to attend
- Attend trade shows and acquire new wholesale accounts
- Process wholesale account orders
Merchandising (In-store Displays)
- Assist with the development of in-store racks and displays
- Work with stores to display product well and tell the Rice Love story
Minimum Qualifications
- 1-3 years experience in a sales position
- Highschool diploma
- Excellent command of the English language
- Ability to be productive working independently
- Passion for Rice Love and our mission
Preferred Qualifications
- 3-5 years experience in a sales position
- BS/MS degree in business, marketing, or related field
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to be productive working independently
- Drive for results and leadership skills
- Passion for Rice Love and our mission
Job type: Part-time
Wage: $14/hr + commission
